Sound and light spaceship for a drummer based on Der Steppenwolf from Hermann Hesse.

 

Solo for one musician attempting a sound journey within the magic theatre described in the novel of Hermann Hesse. 

 

Like dreaming awake, the magic theater is an interior landscape where the author, the actor and the spectator are one person. The performance leads the viewer to appropriate the aesthetic and immersive experience,with the freedom of his own imagination. "Le Loup de Steppes" tells the story of Harry Haller, a disillusioned man torn between a need for isolation, almost savagery, an aspect of himself that he calls "the steppes wolf", an integration into society that he is always seeking for.
