H​A​LA DUETT 'AS​A​K' AVAILABLE APRIL 14TH

With this second album"Asák", Håla Duett refines her recipe mixing Tuareg scales and melodies, Gnawa rhythms and a touch of noise rock... The lyrics as well as the music reflect the mixture practiced by Håla Duett.
Sung in English, Hausa or in a melodic language created for the occasion, they deal with popular subjects such as resisting the oppressor, the abolition of borders or the relationship to religion. Asák, for example, designates both a piece of traditional music among the Tuareg and a village in Norway or Iran.
