JULIEN DESPREZ ON TRACKS (ARTE)

A rebellious child of rock and jazz, Julien Desprez is bored with his guitar. To free himself from the rehearsals of his Stratocaster, he decides to combine gestures and light. In 2008, he founded the COAX collective and destroys the partitions of his musical world. It was after fifteen years that he managed to create his own language, but also to constantly reinvent it. The artist’s latest creation, Coco, a Brazilian music danced with wooden taps, from which he is inspired for his next show.
