PARKR

The ParkR project offers a reinterpretation of "Yardbird" Charlie Parkers music, who died on March 12, 1955 at the age of 34. The point here isn't to revive Bebop but more of capturing its essence, the colors, the idioms, reclaiming them and making them a new object with a "Neo-expressionist" prism, echoing Jean Michel Basquiats focus on "Bird" in the 80s.
