This album was recorded at the Performing Art Forum, a former convent that has become a performance and creation venue. Its multiple spaces are full of stories that resonate in the present, we can feel history through every wall. The sound imprints and acoustics, reproduced in detail, are constitutive of the music and have accompanied the musicians gestures and improvisations throughout the recordings. The progression of the pieces, each inspired by the place in which they were improvised, is the mark of this desire for elasticity affirmed in the title of the album: Gummi, meaning 'elastic' in German.
